This seems like an ideal place to start this blog off, by telling you all about me. I'm not sure how long or short this post will be but lets get cracking and we will see...
My name is Amy and I'm 22 years old. My birthday is in January which makes me an Aquarius and yes, I ring true to almost all the Aquarian traits! For example I am extremely independent, I like to do everything myself, I love my own company and it doesn't bother me to be by myself. I think this stems from being an only child. It drives the people around me nuts! I love to set objectives for myself and am very determined to complete these objectives, once I set my mind to it, I'm very persistent! I am very opinionated and honest, this has both the good and the bad sides...
Apparently Aquarius are also very compatible with Libra's, did you know?! Good thing, my boyfriend is a Libra! Thank god! If we are as compatible as the star signs say then we should live a long and happy life together. That would be lovely! His name is Cliff, I know what your thinking and NO, he is not a 70 year old man but a few years older than me! We have been together for a couple years now, in fact our anniversary is the end of this month, stay tuned to see if he remembers!
I currently work for a holiday company as cabin crew and have done for the past two summers, however I have just landed (no pun intended) a job with a major airline, which has been my goal since I can remember and start my training in the middle of October. This is one of the main reasons I started this blog, to document my journey and experience for others and myself. Not just the good, but the bad and the ugly too! Believe me the job isn't as glam as everyone would believe but I absolutely love it!
Random fun facts about me, I love tea! What British person doesn't you might ask? Some don't believe it or not, I am not one of those people. I love to read a good book, not on a kindle but actually to hold a paper book in your hands and just get lost in it, preferably on a beach in a tropical climate, but my garden may just have to do for now. I am a huge animal lover, any animal, I love them! I am that person who when watching a horror film doesn't actually watch it but hides herself behind a cushion until it's finished and my blood pressure can return to a healthy level. I like sleep and despise being woken up unless by an alarm clock. Cake. Need I say more?!
So that was just a little about me, you'll learn lots more I am sure and I might even learn somethings about myself along the way. I'm hoping this can be a place I can share with others not just myself and I hope it's something I can look back on in years to come and enjoy reading and reminiscing.
